FAQs
In studio or online?
We are currently offering both in studio and online classes. Feel free to join early for your first class, introduce yourself, get aquainted to the studio.Joining online, class streams from the Union app or your browser.
Do I need a yoga mat?
We encourage everyone to bring their own mat. We do have some loaner mats, but they are first come first serve.
I’m not flexible! Can I really do yoga?
We’ve got pose variations for bodies of all flexibilities, and blocks, straps, and bolsters to make poses more accessible no matter how stiff or inflexible you are.
I’ve got an injury. Can I still come to class?
Yes, if you have been cleared by your doctor for moderate activities. We recommend getting to class early so you have time to check in with your teacher and let them know about your injury. If you find you need a modification or a different pose, wave your teacher over and they’ll be happy to help.
What class is right for me?
We offer many different classes. We always recommend for newer students, start with Basics. If you are seeking more the hour and mixed level classes are the next step. Check out all our classes here.
How often should I practice yoga?
Yoga is most effective when practiced regularly. We recommend a minimum of once a week, but believe healing and transformation take hold when you practice 2-3 times a week.
