Anatomy of Breath with Alex Holmes

  • Three Queens Yoga 410 Monroe Street Philadelphia United States (map)

We can live weeks without food, days without water, but only minutes without breath, yet most of us are not aware of the breath until our yoga practice draws our attention to it.

Join Alex Holmes for this exploration of our most direct connection to our life force. Breathing happens without thinking, yet we can exert our consciousness upon it, which in turn affects our nervous system and emotional state. In this workshop we will examine the 3 dimensional shape change that occurs with breathing, and it’s deeper effects on us. Be prepared for lecture, movement, & breath practice.

This is a virtual event with Alexandra. Content will be available for replay for 5 days.
